Megan Gale
Gale aged 18 Gale, then 18, won a Perth model competition in her early teens. Gale was an actress for a few years until she was recognized in 1999, when Omnitel (now Vodafone Italy) hired her for commercials. She continued to be employed in the company through 2006. In 2003 it was announced that the Australian Tourist Commission hired Gale to represent Australia in Italy. Gale's magazine covers comprise of Australian Marie Claire, Grazia and Gioia. Italian and Australian GQ and Maxim. Australian InStyle. Gale can also be seen in editorials of Australian Cosmopolitan, Vogue Italia as well as Australian Cosmopolitan. Gale has been a model for Italian designers like Gianfranco Fere Genny and Gai Mattiolo as well as on the runways of Mariella Burani Angelo Marani, and Milan Fashion Week. Gale is a fan of many Australian designers like Colette Dinnigan Kirrily Johnsonston, Lisa Ho and Alex Perry. She was also the fashion analyst at Australian TV's Logies awards in 2006. Gale announced in January 2008 that she was retiring from runway modelling after 15 prosperous years. In the following weeks in the event of the launch of the David Jones winter collection in Sydney, Gale walked for the final time on the catwalk. Gale was wearing the Wonder Woman costume she had in mind to wear to The Justice League of America film in the process of being made. Gale finished Alex Perry's Melbourne Fashion Festival 2011 show in March 2011.
